Salvador Dali was born on May 11, 1904 in a Spanish town of Figueres, and died on January 23, 1989. Salvador Dali is an eccentric surrealist painter famous for exploring imago of subconsciousness. His name is synonymous with the surrealist art movement. He is considered as the greatest artist of the surrealist art movement and one of the greatest masters of art of the twentieth century, along with Picasso and Matisse.
